Do you have a prom dress that you will never wear again? Have you been a bridesmaid and still have the dress and dyed shoes in your closet? Does the fancy dress you wore on the cruise still fit? Do you have a wedding dress someone else would enjoy for their special day?
The Greenland Women’s Club is sponsoring an event to recycle formal wear and is currently collecting any size prom dresses, other formal wear, and accessories.
Sunday, March 21 from noon to three o’clock, the Club will host a Fashion Boutique to sell the donated items, as a low cost option for the next formal event. **Bridesmaids Galleria has generously offered us 75+ new dresses to add to our gently used items.** None of the dresses will cost more than $50. The proceeds will support local women’s charities.
If you have items that you would like to donate, you can drop off them off at either Cardea Chiropractic, Route 33, Greenland (603) 433-2023, or to Karen Anderson at the Greenland Town Offices, 575 Portsmouth Avenue, Greenland (603) 436-7111. If you cannot drop off at either of these locations, please notify us and we will arrange for a convenient drop-off location, or will pick up your items.
